Raw Raspberry Jam
1 cup frozen, fresh or thawed raspberries (you could use other berries)
4 fresh medjool dates (pitted)
2 Tbs white or black chia seeds
- Wazz berries and dates in a food processor or thermomix until it is the consistency you are happy with (I like mine a little chunky but you can wazz till it’s smoother).
- Transfer to a container
- Stir in chia seeds and wait 2 hours or so before you use it. The chia seeds will thicken the mixture to a spreadable consistency. If yours is to runny you can add more chia seeds
- This is made from fresh fruit so not preserved in the same way as Jam normally is, so you’ll have to eat it within a week or so.
