Vegan spiced Banana smoothie

Vegan spiced banana smoothie (makes 1 large)

Ingredients 

1/2 cup macadamia nuts
4 medjool dates (pitted)
1 frozen banana
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp cinnamon
250 mL coconut milk
150 mL coconut water

Method

  1. Process the macadamia nuts and dates until they are blended into a paste
  2. add remaining ingredients and process until the drink is smooth.

Note: The frozen banana is so the drink is cold, but if you don’t have any frozen you can throw in a handful of ice cubes
